Terms & Conditions
Last updated: 21 October 2026
These terms apply to treatments booked with Dolsa Alves Massage & Beauty at The Beauty Lounge in Almancil, Algarve, Portugal. Please read them before confirming an appointment. They do not limit your statutory consumer rights.
1. Who you are dealing with
Services are provided by Dolsa Alves, an independent trader trading as Dolsa Alves Massage & Beauty:
- Trader: Dolsa Alves (sole trader)
- NIF: 209157801
- Rua Cristovao Pires Norte, Edificio Figueiral Park, 8135-117 Almancil, Algarve, Portugal
- Email: dolsaalves@gmail.com
- Phone / WhatsApp: +351 914 141 904
2. Booking & Confirmation
Appointments are made by WhatsApp on +351 914 141 904, or through the booking form on this site, which opens WhatsApp with your details pre-filled. Nothing is booked until Dolsa replies to confirm the day and time.
3. Prices, payment and deposits
Prices are those shown on the treatment list and are in euro. They may change; the price confirmed at the time of booking is the price you pay. Where a price is shown as “from”, the final amount and the reason for any variation will be agreed before you commit.
The accepted payment methods and any deposit needed to hold an appointment are confirmed with you when the appointment is agreed, before you commit. If you would like a receipt, ask Dolsa when you book or pay.
4. Arriving for Your Appointment
Treatments are timed, so arriving late may mean a shorter session. Please arrive 5–10 minutes early so you have time to settle in.
5. Your Health
Massage and beauty services are not a substitute for medical advice or treatment. Before your appointment, Dolsa asks you verbally about anything that could affect your safety during treatment — for example existing conditions, medication, pregnancy or recent injuries — and notes only what is relevant to your appointment. Please tell her anything that may matter and seek medical advice where needed.
Do not send medical records or sensitive health details through the website form or an initial WhatsApp message. A treatment may need to be adapted or postponed for safety.
6. Cancellations & Late Changes
The salon’s cancellation terms are those shown with the treatment list:
- Please arrive 5 - 10 minutes before your appointment
- Cancellations require at least 24 hours’ notice.
- Late cancellations (less than 24 hours) will incur a 50% charge.
- Same-day cancellations or missed appointments will be charged in full.
These charges must be brought to your attention before confirmation and apply only to the extent permitted by law. They do not override any statutory right to withdraw, obtain a refund or challenge an unfair term. Contact Dolsa promptly if you need to change an appointment.
7. Gift Vouchers
Gift vouchers are available by arrangement with Dolsa and are valid for six months from purchase. The date of purchase and expiry are shown on the voucher, together with any restrictions agreed at the time. Vouchers are for the treatment they were bought for and cannot be exchanged for cash. No voucher sale or payment takes place on this website.
8. Your Personal Information
How your details are handled, and for how long they are kept, is described in our Privacy Policy, and which cookies this site uses in our Cookie Policy.
9. Consumer rights and remote bookings
This website is an enquiry channel, not an online checkout. An appointment is confirmed separately through WhatsApp. If an arrangement qualifies as a distance contract under applicable law, required pre-contract information and withdrawal rights still apply. Where the statutory 14-day withdrawal period applies, it runs from conclusion of the service contract.
If you request a service during that period, any early-start request and acknowledgement required by law must be obtained separately. You may lose the withdrawal right after full performance only where the legal conditions are met. Nothing in these terms assumes that every appointment is exempt from withdrawal rights.
10. Complaints & Applicable Law
If something is not right, please tell Dolsa first — most things can be put right on the day. If you remain dissatisfied, you can submit a complaint through the Livro de Reclamações. These terms are governed by Portuguese law, without removing any mandatory consumer protection applicable to you.
You may also be able to take a consumer dispute to the consumer arbitration centre for the Algarve, the Centro de Informação, Mediação e Arbitragem de Conflitos de Consumo do Algarve (CIMAAL), Av. 5 de Outubro n.º 55, R/C Dtº., 8000-075 Faro, telephone 289 823 135, email cimaal@mail.telepac.pt, website consumoalgarve.pt. Whether a dispute can be taken there depends on the centre’s own rules and on the trader’s adhesion; the official list of recognised consumer dispute-resolution bodies is published by the Direção-Geral do Consumidor at consumidor.gov.pt.
